Presently I am pleased to offer the following types of Ceremonies:
- Commitment Ceremonies
- Renewal of Vows (Anniversary)
- Baby Naming (Baptism/Christening)
- Blessings (house, business, car, boat, etc.)
Being a Chaplain, means being willing to serve the spiritual needs of people from all backgrounds and religions. Serving this diverse group during their times of sorrow and celebration can be challenging and requires the study of many different belief systems and traditions, as well as courses in secular ceremonies for those non-religious members. Over the years I found these studies quite helpful in the creation of interfaith marriage ceremonies and I have worked with many interfaith couples to help them create beautifully memorable wedding ceremonies that honored both of their religions. Here is a partial list of the many interfaith ceremonies I have crafted and celebrated:
- Episcopal/Armenian Orthodox
In addition here is a sampling of the interfaith rituals I have presided over…
- Creating the Sacred Wedding Circle
- Scottish tradition of Sashing the Bride/Pinning the Tartan
- Orthodox tradition of the Cross (modified "crowning")
- Signing of the Ketubah
- Seven Blessings and The Shehechyanu
- Christin, Hebrew and Pagan Wine Ceremonies
- …and many more
I would be happy to discuss your thoughts for including your rituals and traditions in your ceremony.
Same Sex Ceremonies
As a supporter of the LGBT and Alternative Lifestyle communities I am open, accepting and welcoming of couples from all backgrounds and lifestyles. It has been my distinct pleasure to have worked with many LGBT/Alternative couples over the years, and to have created uniquely beautiful ceremonies that include and embrace both, their lifestyle and their love for each other. Let me show you how I can do the same for you.
I have been asked what I wear to officiate at a wedding ceremony. Typically I offer the following choices:
Suit and Tie: A tastefully simple suit with shirt and tie.
Minister's Robe: A black robe with or without your choice of Christian, nondenominational, or rainbow stole.
Themed Weddings: I would be happy to perform your ceremony in costume, provided ample advance notice is given (added charge may apply).

Wherever you choose to hold your wedding, I'll come to you!
Where you decide to hold your wedding is a personal choice. It is as uniquely personal as choosing the flowers, the cake, the meal that will be served to your guests, or the perfect wedding gown.
Sometimes the location is a reflection of your personalities, sometimes it's a place that holds special meaning for the two of you, and sometimes it's simply a matter of economics.
I have seen ceremonies performed at home and in back yards that were just as beautiful and emotional as any that was ever held in a cathedral.
Wherever you choose to hold your ceremony; whether indoors or outside, at a five-star venue in Boston, or a barn in Barnstead, I will help you make it a very special day!
With poetic apologies to Dr Seuss:
I will wed you in a church, I will wed you on your porch,
I will wed you in a hall, I will wed you near a wall,
I will wed you on a plane, I will wed you on a train,
I will wed you here or there, I will wed you anywhere.
